Assisted Trey Hill in teaching his Sculpture II class. Students completed assignments using a variety of materials and techniques. Aided by helping guide critic and monitoring student use of advanced tools; plasma cutter, welding, ban saw, chop saw, table saw, and a variety of sanders.

Taught a variety of different hand built projects; techniques included reductive carving, coil, slab, and press mold building.

Taught projects that gave students an introduction into the elements that create a sculpture. Students learned about a variety of basic tools and woodshop tools.

Adjunct Faculty: Ceramics I, II, and Studio and Three-Dimensional Foundations, Oklahoma State University – Stillwater, OK
Taught intro, intermediate, and advanced ceramics classes where students learn all levels of ceramic techniques; throwing, hand building, kiln and glaze knowledge. In charge of multiple kiln firings types; electric, gas, and atmospheric. In three-dimensional foundations students learn an introduction to basic design of sculpture using basic woodworking, metal soldering, and sintering 3D modeling.

Assist and mentor beginner and intermediate students. Additional responsibilities include preparing glazes, making clay, firing and monitoring kilns and studio up keep.

Primarily performed repairs throughout the Ceramics Department; refurbish Soldner clay mixer, replace fuses, bricks, elements, thermocouples on electric kilns, and weld new steel framing for salt kilns. Mix and create glazes for studio use. Built custom salt kiln.

Head of managing and maintaining all studio practice area’s equipment and safety training, including ceramics, jewelry metals, printmaking, sculpture, and three-dimensional foundations, as well as the University’s Art Community Center.
